The option had just gashed Bama pretty well and we went back to the run up the middle with Ware on 2nd and 1.

2 of the 3 big pass plays to TR were rub routes. The other was a blown coverage.
LSU starts running the option and Bama makes no adjustments when they run it. 6 speed option plays for about 45 yards in the game.
We've heard that Bama tried to lighten up his defense (by running a shitload) to help with the option coverage, but that is a very tricky slope. It could open up more inside running for LSU.
