Great pics. Did they give you a hard time bringing in the 70-300 lens at the gate?
I was curious since I went to the Superdome for Fan Jam to take pictures of my family and a Dome security guard came up to me and said "can you take that lens off the camera?"
I told him I could, but I wasn't planning on it and I didn't understand why he was asking me to take the lens off the camera. I quickly told him that I wasn't going to the game either.
He said that it was okay then. He said that they would be turning people away with cameras with a lens you can remove. That didn't make sense since a dslr is going to have a lens you can remove regardless of the size. I was also under the impression that the lens limit was 6 inches. Didn't see a reason to argue with him about it since I wasn't going to the game and I was there to have fun with the family.

The gate security were a bunch of nazis, with the intent on harassing everyone. I got hassled for leaving with a souvenir cup after . A damn empty cup...geez.
