2 defensive TDs, KO return, JJ Plays good (2 Pass TD), Murphy adds one

Defense shuts them down and LSU finally finishes a game.

LSU- 45 Mooo state- 10

I look for LSU to win off turnovers. I've got it LSU 32, MSU 3.

LSU is never good against the spread, but I don't see Miss State's offense doing any better than Vandy's did with the way the D-line played. With that being said, I see us getting complacent in the 4th quarter and the game is closer than expected. I take Moo State with the points.

State has a shite ton more talent on offense vs. Vandy thanks to Mullen. I don't really see the comparison, especially with Mullen in charge.

Potentially, yes. In actuality, no. Vandy's QB & WR's >>> State's right now, and it's not even close.

I'll take performance over potential any day. Vandy's QB & WR's didn't lose the game for them. If they had been up aginst Auburn's secondary instead of LSU's they'd have done much better.

MSU's WR's and QB's hands down lost the game for the Bulldogs. And against an average defense at that.

Chavis has been pretty solid against the spread over the years.

Maybe they have more talent, but what I saw out of the Miss State passing game against a porous Auburn secondary was less than impressive.

I'll take our secondary over Auburn's secondary and before this weekend's performance I would have either taken Auburn's D-line over ours or called it a draw. I'm now VERY high on LSU's D-line after what I saw against Vandy.

Outside of 2007 he kept Florida in check pretty well at Tennessee.

Auburn didn't stand a chance last season.

Mississippi State's spread? Frightening.

the passing game shouldn't be that big of a part of the offense, I'd bet you'll see a huge commit to the run from Mullen on Saturday on a defense that has been relatively untested(UNC 3rd stringer, Vandy) in terms of the run.

You've got a much better chance at beating LSU through the air than on the ground at this point in the season.

blowing the worst team in the conference doesn't make that win look any more impressive. LSU gave Vandy plenty of chances to be in that game and they didn't do shite.

They've been tested far more than State's run game has. This will be the best defense State sees all year.

The LSU front seven is somewhat undersized and has not really been tested yet. We know how good Peterson and the secondary is.

Until Mullen picks a RB we won't know how good the run game can be.

UNC had their 1st string O Line and LSU's front 4 was able to slice through pretty well. LSU had some tackling problems but with the way Chavis preaches tackling that seems to have been fixed.

You can beat LSU through the air with a short passing game to set up longer throws. The Linebackers still aren't the best in coverage and Loston will overpursue at safety. Just stay away from Peterson.

Which explains why you don't know what you're talking about. UNC played most of their starters on offense. No third stringers, as you said before. Vandy's offense is about as good as yours is, frankly. The Dores just didn't pad their stats with a cupcake like Memphis that's given up 98 points in two games.

Vandy has played two bowl teams from last year. They got screwed by the Big Ten refs in the first game, for which the Big Ten later apologized. And they kept it close vs LSU until their defense got wore out due to lack of depth.

Vandy would beat MSU right now. LSU is going to.

UNC was still running 3rd/4th string backs and seemed to prefer just keeping it in the air with Yates.

State beat Vandy in their 'magical' season of 2008, they're terrible, and looked even more so without their coach. Losing to a mediocre Big 10 team really isn't a badge of honor either, but whatever.

Vandy's offense is no where near State's in terms of talent and coaching. It's not even close.
