at least the program is showing signs of life again. today was ugly no doubt but most people thought we'd get 4 or 5 wins. We may get 9

I'm sorry but this is NOT what we want. LSU deserves an ELITE MBB program. We may never get the magic back like when Dale was at the helm, but we can at least expect seasons like 2000 or 2006. This is pathetic!

Deserve's got nothing to do with it - Wil Munny or Snoop
Either way LSU fans barely even go to games many other schools "deserve" an elite team more than us.

we're shooting for 9 SEC wins now... good start and something to finally build on for next year. return all 5 starters and bring in a couple talented new guys... it looks like trent saved his job so we'll see what happens next year. at the beginning of this year I thought it'd be a disappointment to win less than 8 SEC games. Looks like we'll meet that at least...

I hope you're right. I really wanted to make the dance so Trent could save his job.
But, I fear more games like today next year than anything else. Next year could be a disaster.
The program needs a NCAA birth desperately. We might even win a game and the brand needs to stay out front. As I said earlier, we're Tulane, currently.

I don't.... we'll be better next year. Need to find one big man in this class from the JUCO ranks. Malik Morgan may push Turner or Stringer to the bench...

Hickey starting... Geert Hammink's son can back it up if we land him next year. He's more of a 2 guard but from what I've read he won't have a problem spelling Hickey
