Peoples opinion of vulgar are all different, and I get LSU trying to please those who don't like cussing. But music stirs emotion. Obviously, you don't see the band playing classical music during the games or them blasting Beethoven over the speakers for a reason.
It is just my opinion that they bring back the songs that get the student section extra crazy and extra loud.

I honestly don't even think I heard the student section shouting the Bitch part in that song. But I was up high in the NEZ so maybe I am wrong.

I don't care about the children, I care when I have to answer for the trashy little shite bags that we call undergrads simply because I'm an LSU alum. And no, my response is not "sorry for partying brah. It's cool to sound ignorant on TV. Deal with it."
Those little punks would only say sttdb under the cover of a large group of sheep saying the same thing. And the ones that would say that to someone's face, probably won't make it to sophomore year in college.

For the record, they play the edited version of B***h, I'm from Louisiana before games and I heard it was at the request of some players since it pumps the crowd and then them up before they go into the locker room.
Neck and the students' new wording has always pissed me off. When it was still played, I was always the only person in the section not saying it. Seeing the entire student section move up and down to that song is one of the coolest things to watch, and I have heard from numerous visiting fans say the same. Personally, I don't get why everyone thinks it is so awesome to say STTDB, but what makes me even more pissed is that now student started chanting that to All of the Lights, ruining another TigerBand song.
In Dallas, when they played All of the Lights and student said STTDB, I was on the aisle next to the band and members were yelling at the students after they finished playing since they want to keep playing the song, but the dumbass students keep screwing up every new song they get to play.
Then in Athens, this past weekend when they played All of the Lights, the section said STTDB again and a Louisiana State Trooper kicked a few guys out for profanity since we were next to the UGA season ticket holders. Honestly, if they really want to stop it and keep playing the songs, this is what they need to do. Alleva should send out a warning email and just start kicking people out, because it costs the athletic department money when it makes it on TV and technically, it is bad sportsmanship and fans can get legally kicked out for that.
To be honest, it upsets me most when we are playing at other stadiums, and it is obvious how amazing our band is compared to any other. One of the reasons this is obvious is that any time our band plays a current song or a song that isn't from the Civil War Era like everyone else does, you can visibly see the jealousy of the other team's students as I definitely did at UGA. The LSU students a ruining that, not only for themselves but for our TigerBand that is honestly, the best in the nation.

TGBFTL has been lacking especially the halftime shows... Saw Southern's band at the Saints game and it put TGBFTL to shame. It was actually exciting and fun to watch

yea i realize that they are totally different styles, but i still think LSU could kick it up a notch and make some changes.

It wasn't the style it was that TGBFTL brought the same stale tribute to Latin music that they always do.
