ducote's parents should be ashamed of naming him cody. unless his last name is pronounced differently than it sounds in my head.

What's the down low on this freeman kid? Juco transfer I'm assuming?

Has Bugg gotten his velocity up? His freshman year it was pretty bad, like topped out at 88-89 at best. This past year it seemed like he was starting to hit low 90s. Kid has a gigantic frame, hoping he can close and hit mid 90s.

We will be young this year and the team will take some lumps, but by god man we should contend for the next few years, we are loaded with talent.

One of the Delgado trio, correct. The best athlete out of the three.

I wonder if Bugg will be the fulltime closer this year or if they'll give Stallings another shot at it. Also, I'd like to see more Doug Norman this year.

His last name is pronounced doo-cot instead of da-cody?

He did awful in summer ball. I don't think he did anything in the fall either

Just taking notice of that too, not 1 senior starter or even in the 2 deep anywhere.

We might only lose Fraley after this season too early to the draft.

Reid. I was most suprised that he isn't higher up at any position. This fall he had one of the highest OBP and played good defense all over the field

Damn, didn't realize we only have 2 lefties in the bullpen. Should cutdown on all the matchup baseball PM likes to do.

How has the freshman McKay looked? Potential closer maybe?

Bugg's velocity has been a consistent 87-91mph since he's been here. When the weather warms up around April-May velocities tend to rise, the good news is he's more than refined a number of offspeed pitches over the last two years. I think he has the potential to be a dominant setup guy.
