It’s not me… LSU baseball has a much stronger following than basketball. Additionally I’m not advocating cutting funding for basketball. I just thing it’s not proportionate… baseball is a revenue generating sport for LSU and has arguably the best legacy in college sports. I think it’s absurd that women’s basketball spends so much to lose and for some reason it’s held in a higher standard than our baseball program.

Calling baseball the tallest midget is a crazy take.

So you and your other baseball bros should keep rooting for this WALKING CORPSE of a basketball coach to do just enough to hang on.
Whoa, you’re barking up the wrong McTree; I want a new coach (well in a pearfect world I want tGeneral back), just don’t want to spend on players until we have a proven coach in place.
Aside from my personal fandom, baseball has the best coach in America; I just want to invest in whatever gives us the best chance to win national championships.

We DOMINATE a college sport that over 99% of college sports fans pay ZERO attention to. What would you call it?
If you doubt me, why do the networks pay college football and basketball BILLIONS to broadcast their games, and college baseball gets lumped together with about 40 other minor sports when broadcast fees are paid?
If it was popular AT ALL, wouldn't college baseball command a premium price to have it broadcast?
Wouldn't it stand to reason that SIGNIFICANTLY more notoriety comes LSU's way when we win big in the 2 major sports? Also, isn't it logical that hardly anyone notices nationwide if you're good in baseball, golf, track, gymnastics, etc...?
This really isn't that hard to grasp.

I stated basically the same thing in another thread yesterday. Obviously Jay is very diligent in keeping his program at a high level but to ensure he does, sweeten that pot a little more.
