I don't think he'll have much of a factor at all this year, the fact that he's starting to throw these last two weeks is very good news in itself for LSU this year on the mound.

I didnt really think Bradon Doughty could start DH, has he gotten significantly better in a matter of weeks? He was expected no playing time coming in

Heard he was mostly just a bullpen catcher to get his brother to commit

Duplantis in RF.

Am I the only person that sees a problem with this?

Adam - so you think he’ll be ready to start the year in a few weeks?

Duplantis played RF during the 2016 season. His arm was hurt last year and Deichmann was moved to RF causing the move to LF.

Based on the starters line-up at the end of fall scrimmages, I think the starters this spring will be as follows:
C Hunter Feduccia
1st Bryce Jordan
2nd Brandt Broussard
SS Josh Smith
3rd Jake Slaughter
LF Daniel Cabrera
CF Zach Watson
RF Antoine Duplantis
DH Bradon Doughty

SP Zack Hess, Caleb Gilbert, Devin Fontenot
This looks solid. I would like to see Duplantis and Cabrera switch just because Cabrera has the better arm. I also think Coomes Jordan and Storz get the nod at DH before Doughty, but he was really good in the fall. Ma'Khail Hilliard or Todd Peterson could be your Wednesday starter. If Cam Sanders can control his pitches, he could be really good at the closer position.

Truth be told, I don't see Hess developing as a SP

C Feduccia
1b- Br. Jordan
2b- Hughes
SS- Smith
3b-Slaughter
LF- Cabrerra
CF- Watson
RF- Duplantis
DH-B. Jordan,Coomes primary RH DH's and Webre primary LH DH. I do think its Beau's job to lose.....Doughty won't be in them mix here nor will Storz IMO

SP- Zach Hess, Caleb Gilbert, Devin Fontenot
Closer- Cam Sanders,Nick Storz

In my humble opinion...

Smith SS
Duplantis LF
Watson CF
Jordan DH
Jordan 1st
Cabrera RF
Feduccia C
Slaughter 3rd
Broussard 2nd

Pretty solid lineup. The four and five spots are cause for concern.
