Look if you are going to make a point that's great but don't use 3 of your 4 scores from pre-21st century. That's great, LSU got killed in what's that 1988? Geez. That's a great stat. And oh, there's that one in 93 (LSU football was very down) and the one in 1999 when LSU football was again down.

So when you chisel away at everything the only butt-kicking LSU has gotten at home is in 2001 44-15. Just say that. Look at LSU's home record this century. Pretty impressive, granted last year there were some slip ups, but we'll rebound.

Did you really cite a game from 1988? And 93?

You claimed that, "that sort of thing doesn't happen". You didn't add a 'lately', or 'this century' to the end of it.

It's not my fault you can't construct an argument without moving the goal posts.

I think this is a huge mistake on Urban Meyer's part.

Right. The coach who has won 2 NC's in 3 years knows less about his own team compared to the rant. lawl
Myer's OC for the past decade plus left him and is at Moo State....don't expect the offense to be the same.He may have a good point.I do expect us to beat Fla. at home FWIW.

OU's mediocre defense gave Tebow trouble before they folded down the stretch. Ole Miss had what it took to bring down the beast. Florida is great, but they are far from being unbeatable.

Home field advantage will be worth 7 to 10 points for the Tigers this year, which will keep the game within about 30 points.

47-17 is your ballpark final. It will be UGLY.

You are a clown. I have been the one saying that Florida is going to be a great team and I would be very surprised if we beat you guys. But statements like this show that you have very little knowledge about any team other than your own. In fact you probably don't even know that much about the Gators. You probably just jumped on the bandwagon after the Arkansas game in 06.

GTFO.

I think we beat UF next year b/c Tiger Stadium will be absolutly electric, especially if both teams are undefeated. And b/c they ran the score up last year and rubbed it in out face. Payback's a bitch Brandon Spikes!!!

My point is this... even IF their offense will remain the same for the most part, those 5-10 plays a game that will be different are gonna cost them. That's what Im saying. Close games only come down to a handful of plays.

What if those plays are sucessful?

How about you just say it? I really don't think even you have an answer. Shut up and go back to bitching on the OT about "never finding happiness with a woman"

Rocket, should we even take the field against Florida?...i mean, you make it sound like we don't even belong on the same field as the Gators...you say since Florida's offense gradually gets better every year, they are going to score even more points against us this year than last year....i guess your logic is that Florida improves while LSU doesn't improve....like we're going to be the same as last year....do you not see the defense improving under Chavis?....do you not see the offense improve with a much better QB situation?....Are you really an LSU fan or are you a Gator fan pretending LSU's your team...

He is being logical.

Florida is returning the defense. Not 'key players' but...the defense.

We have an entire new defensive staff and several new faces.

Florida's Defense > Our speculation on ours

When the dust settles our defense could be #1 in the country but right now we have NO IDEA what they will do.

i really do believe that these young men will respond very positively to change, especially after what happened last year....with the addition of Chavis and the team's renewed enthusiasm and consistent QB play, anything's possible when you've got as much talent as we've got...IMO Florida offense will have a much tougher time against us this year because our defense will now have the speed and athleticism and brainpower(Chavis) to slow down their attack...but we'll see..i'm just a optimistic LSU fanatic that doesn't know how to be pessimistic....

Newly revised score prediction:

UF 51
LSU 13

Brantley plays most of the second half, Jordan Jefferson gets sacked six times and throws three interceptions, and Tiger Stadium is half empty early in the 4th quarter. Tebow spends the final minutes of the game waving a Gator flag while the remaining fans - all from UF - celebrate the victory in the stands.

Ten minutes after the game, LSU fans on Tiger Droppings will be predicting a revenge victory in Gainesville the following year.

Several posters have offered to bet you on the outcome of this game, and you've chickened out every time.

Until your wallet is willing to walk the talk you mouth is spewing, no one is going to believe that YOU believe what you're saying.

I know I don't.

Although it looks great on paper for UF, sitting through '97 at LSU taught me things can happen that change things quick. A couple turn overs and it could be down hill. Up until UF's 1st posession in the 2nd hlf last yr I still thought LSU would win. This could be another awesome game. Can't wait.

First, because Brick Haley is actually teaching technique now (where as Earl Lane wasn't),

You mean the same technique that got him fired with the Chicago Bears.

What was Earl Lane teaching in 2007 when we won the Crystal?........
