that's a little extreme but your point is well taken.
with the ncaa the most important thing is not that you broke one of their 10million, ever changing and extremely vague rules and regulations...but who knew about it and when did they know about it and what did they do about it the moment they found out about it.
hopefully this is a 'fish sandwich' type of thing and not the bama norm 'gump booster shoe box filled with dead presidents' type of thing or the oklahoma norm 'sooner booster no show/get paid because you're a qb' type of thing.

The NCAA regulations are so mind-numbingly complex that the system is almost set up for programs to fail. That way they ensure they always have a job. Sort of like the Tax Code.
