I respectfully think this years team would lose to last years team in any setting.
College game
Aau game
Practice
Outdoors
At your local YMCA
Mickey and Martin would have their way with Simmons and Victor. Martin would manhandle Ben Simmons on both ends and Mickey would throw Victors shot every time he took it to the rim.

I don't disagree PG was an issue. The 3 spot to me was biggest problem. Nobody in that spot was able to guard all year. With that said, when next level people laugh at the coaching scheme and player development, it may be bigger issues.

Good thing is that Skylar is a floor general. A big pass first guard with amazing vision and strength. One thing that he'll have over Josh is his ability to get to the rim and finish. I hope TQ comes back and learns to play without the ball in his hands and consistently shoot. Having two guards one 6'4 and the other 6'6 on the perimeter would give team fits. Actually this team could be long as hell in the backcourt. Rebounding still looks to be weak, but thats an atheltic lineup with depth that can press.
PG: Mays 6'4, Patterson
SG: Sampson 6'5, Jenkins
SF: Quarterman 6'6, Hayward, Sims
PF: Victor 6'8, , Epps
C: Reath 6'9, Elbert, Darcy
Assuming Blakeney leaves.

Hell of a point. We were also missing that. That 6'6 athlete with nice athleticism and size that can be a physical defender on the perimiter and get around screens. Our guards are so scrawny that we really needed that this year.

I also think Johhny approaches the game like a NBA coach. He is laid back which allows players the freedom to develop and prepares them for the next level. With johnnys coaching style a floor general is very much needed.

You're so dumb it hurts.

That's exactly what I expected your response to be

Which NBA coach does Jones remind you of? (this should be funny)

Hickey wasn't perfect but he thrived for big moments
Unless we were playing Kentucky, Hickey just stood around and watched. Of course that same exact thing could be said for any and all of our players under Johnny.
Hickey was a great athlete but wasn't a basketball player. He should have been a DB. That dude had hops and man could he jump on some long passes and make steals when we actually used to press. Fun times with Hickey snow-birding in the back while Shavon Coleman was working the top of the press.

If you think NBA coaches are acting like bob knight you must not watch the NBA.

Yea he was a great athlete for sure. This team could have used a Shavon Coleman.
