LATech hosted SU to open the 15 season. SU bought more tickets than UL-L or UL-M ever have. The band was entertaining. I don't know of any issue pregame, during the game or post game... In fact everything seemed to go well.
All that said, if I am the AD at LSU, a national football power, I don't even think about putting the Tigers against a FCS team. Pay a CUSA or MWC team to come to town and collect the check.

Its amazing and very telling that you're getting all pissy with me over some perceived slight, but you've yet to respond to the post on the first page insinuating that shootings would increase in Baton Rouge if LSU played Southern.

I am not arguing that point. LSU has premiere athletes across the board while SU doesn't get the caliber of athlete it got even in the 80's. With recruiting the way it is, no one falls through the cracks. It would probably be a bloodbath. Half-time would be epic and no, there would not be trouble. SU's fans are well behaved and very civil compared to your rival fans in the SEC.

Man I don't live in Baton Rouge, I don't have any way of gauging what the pulse of the community is in Baton Rouge. Such a ridiculous, outrageous statement like that speaks for itself. Didn't read that, but I can't address everything, that would be a full time job. Not amazing at all.

Didn't assume anything until you doubled down and then used the KKK reference. If you are not white, you have a similar mentality to those that so cavelierly diminish the achievements and efforts of Blacks. Doesn't matter your skin color, you are of the same mind. That is more tragic than any Shaksperian play.

Lsu just starting competing for a Real National Championship. BCS was never a National Championship.

I'm talking about Southern refusing to play in their divisional playoffs to participate in the Bayou Classic instead. Then they would claim the "Black College" National Championship against another meaningless team in some insignificant " Heritage Bowl "
