This was the thing with LSU Sports Properties / Playfly signing contracts with recruits saying they would pay them above the cap through NIL deals, but any contracts for NIL deals need to be cleared through NILGO before they are presented.

Because nobody cares about the truth. It's about feeding this boogeyman narrative and it gets them traction. They know the landscape because all of cfb got happy when that article dropped. Issue gets resolved and the response is that "(insert organization) " has no teeth.
