Mainieri to Miles is a terrible comparison. Paul couldn't sniff Less jock in term if coaching ability and success at LSU.

One thing Les never did was lose to vastly inferior teams. Paul consistently loses to terrible teams.

It's one thing to lose to Alabama and Auburn in football. It's quite another to be dominated by in-state schools regularly in baseball.

Les took accountability when he failed. That's something I've never seen CPM do under any circumstance.

Like another poster said, baseball is not football. Anyone can win. Louisiana may be more rich with baseball talent then they are with football talent. ULL, SELU, UNO, and Tulane (tempted to add Nicholls but they're a little too inconsistent) are no slouch teams. They've built some pretty decent programs. I think it's a bit unfair to judge Mainieri on instate, midweek games.

No comparison what so ever. We won multiple natty's in baseball when we lost to in-state schools

Are you actually comparing football to baseball? Is this really happening?

Let's see how this season plays out before we fire CPM. No telling what might happen.
