I completely agree. Ott needed to use his arm. A pitcher can lose too much control if he doesn't throw regularly.
Additionally, I am happy that the coach was able to use so many players in this world series. Those young men will have the memories of a lifetime, and they've earned it.

Pitching in a blowout is tough sometimes for closers. They don't have the same focus as if they were going for a save. There's nothing to be worried about.
He was just out there getting some work and pumping strikes. And Arkansas got a hold of a couple. Not that big of a deal.

I agree he needed to pitch, but you did not want to see him get crushed.
