Just looked up his 40 time because I didn't believe your 4.39 stat. He actually runs a 4.6 but good try.

4.6 for a guy his size is still pretty good...

I never said it wasn't good. A 4.39 was just a ridiculous statement. And playing in the SEC, LSU faces D-Ends that run 4.6 week in and week out.

I think you need to re-visit the Bruce Irvin 40 yard dash time after our pro day.
He runs in the 4.4's on a regular bases and has run sub 4.4.
I expect on our pro day he'll run in the 4.4's.... easily.

The only edge WVU has over LSU this upcoming year is homefield advantage.

We play that caliber of DE in the SEC a majority of the games. He may be your best but he's run-of-the-mill at best on teams like LSU, UA, AU, UF, UGA, UT, and even Old Mrs. perennially have great DE's in our conference.

1. I had a great time visiting Baton Rouge last year - best hospitality ever experienced at a WVU away game. And better tailgate food than most restaurants. Very much appreciated was your fans' recognition that our band is pretty good.
2. I sincerely hope that all LSU fans coming to Morgantown this year will have an enjoyable visit - other than losing the game. Be prepared to hear a little worse than "Tiger Bait," but understand that the great majority of WVU fans are no different than LSU's - we love our team and our players, and are good sports.
3. Last year's game was more closely contested than many LSU fans will concede. Our players were mad afterward as they knew they could have won. But for the costly fumble on our 7 yd line and the flawed punt right to Peterson, WVU should have won.
4. It has been correctly stated that WVU's only advantage come September 24 is its home field - do not take this lightly.
5. If you are coming to the game and have an extra day, I recommend Blackwater Falls and Canaan Valley - 75 miles from Morgantown and some of WV's best scenery. Circle back though Elkins - where Pistol Pete Maravich lived while his Dad coached at Davis & Elkins College (Press' alma mater).
5. May the best team win.
PS I've been an LSU fan since "The Chinese Bandits' - even though my two daughters are Kentucky alums.

think LSU's ineptitude on offense and JJ's turnovers had a lot to do with keeping the game close. watching the game i felt LSU was easily the better team, just a poor offense was keeping it closer than it should have been.

Exactly maybe I am biased but WVU was lucky the score was not worse. JJ played one of his many worst games that night and made the game closer than it should have been.

in all fairness, WVU defense was really good this past season...
I looked at the LSU offense much like the WVU offense the last 3 years...enough talent to do some big things, but just a cluster F* all together...luckily for WVU, those days are hopefully over...

im sure they'll call me biased but so what? i felt that game should never have been close, if we had even a decent offense, it wouldn't have been.
