Lsu was a 10 point favorite basically playing at wisconsin, as the much higher ranked team. Miami would be at best a pick it, if not slight underdog if playing at lsu as the much higher ranked team. Not even close to the same.

I have a close friend who is a huge booster. They remember the Peach Bowl and the fans who know football, are not as confident as most of the trash talkers. They do believe in Diaz and think their defense is dominant, just like we do. Look for a relerive low scaring game in which I think the Tigers win because our defense is better than theirs, and Burrow is going to be a real QB upgrade for us.

I haven’t come in contact with any Miami fans, but it’s easy to see how winning 10 or more games can make a fan base delusional, regardless of conference (Look at UCF).
I want us to win the game next Sunday not to trash talk them back, but to maybe (for at least a week) shut up every detractor of this team who has written us off as “not being very good this year”. I know one game doesn’t make a season, but if we beat Miami and do it soundly, then damn it will sure feel good.
