Been screaming this from the rooftops for years. You can have fireworks or a Tiger but not both. And anyone can have fireworks.
Yet they never tried the common sense step of bringing in the tiger and not using any explosives.

Get the old cage, hook it up behind a ‘57 chev convertible, put a stuffed tiger in it, recorded roaring with gigantic speakers, park by visitors tunnel. Instant classic added to the lore Death Valley.

I was about to say how stupid this was until I remembered… we have the actual stuffed Mike I with his roar recorded.
