you his side piece, wife or agent?

Miles knows the truth
quote:

That being said, if it wasn’t right for Michigan, I certainly understand. I’ve got a wonderful place, I’m very happy there.”

So does his agent
quote:

While most of the media speculated the Louisiana State football coach was about to jump to the University of Michigan, neither Miles nor his agent, George Bass, had heard from anyone connected to Michigan in any capacity.

Forget all you've heard about secret deals using third-party intermediaries between Michigan and Miles. Bass said it's just not true.

Miles had no idea if Michigan really wanted him.

So Bass decided to ask.

He said he called Martin's cell phone on Friday and left a message. He just wanted to know where Miles stood.

Then, when he didn't hear back, the agent said he called again.

"The (LSU) deal was so good that we couldn't just wait," Bass said via phone Tuesday. "I didn't know if we were one of the candidates in the pool at that time. There was just no communication."

Well, yeah, LSU showed him the money.

But before Miles agreed to take it, he asked Michigan to show him the love, to show him something - anything really -that indicated he would be the next Wolverines' coach.

He got silence in return.

Even Aleva recently confirms that he was never told of an offer, only that
quote:

"Personally, I believe he was offered the job."

Really? Sure about this? His agent was playing golf when Michigan AD called to offer Miles the job.

Odd, Miles' agent said he made 2 phone calls. Neither one was returned

Les was being considered to appease the Schembechler element. The Lloyd Carr/Moeller element as well as Dave Brandon wanted no part of Miles. They had to interview him to save face. There was the incident with Moeller's wife which played big.

What got me was Miles was saying he never got offered which is probably true but we were told he turned them down to stay at LSU and get a new contract....TWICE. Then there was the Arkansas thing that was created by Miles (his admission) and he got another new contract.....duh!
And now Saban gets a big raise and Miles is praising Michigan saying it was never offered to him and how great it is up there.

Since the end of the season he has been meeting with recruits and their parents telling them LSU was the best place on earth...except for his own son.
I can understand him not wanting to coach his son, but why make these comments??? How many of you have accompanied your sons to football camp?
In case you cannot connect the dots...it is contract time in Bayou Country. The "Chief" is up for renewal and just maybe Leslie is in line for a bump...AGAIN! This would be the time to get "the big one" (contract) cause we are not going to be very good next year.
