winning 3 bowl games all by blowouts and getting blown out once in the past 3 years (and no i dont count the uga sec champ game - 12 straight games no week off). i'm happy to just keep our "dumb" coach and damn strong football team.

You asked , so i'll answer it. His responses to tough questions are not stupidity, but just a nice, clean way of not giving the media what they want. This is directly opposed to the way of doing that which includes yelling, bullying, and demeaning the questioner while all the time still not answering the question. Your coach does that. I say getting angry as a way to cope is more of a sign of stupidity than the former.

It is both the wrong personnel on the field and the coaching. BOTH need immediate fixes.
If he does not do both in a big way, bad things will continue..

Anyway, back on topic. I'm not saying Les is dumb because he lost this game, or any game for that matter. I was just asking because he honestly comes off as being a little short in the intellect department in my opinion. Now, sure, some very intelligent people sound dumb when talking, and that could be the case. I'm just not sure yet.

Quit being hung up on this, Teague... you can't still be laughing at this... it's not that funny. Now tell me why your coach isn't smart enough to develop more than three or four catch phrases to get through his pressers. Is he dumb? He gets angry to deflect criticism, is he dumb? He is from WestVirginia, is he dumb?

in order for one to espouse an analogy, one must compare two things in order to assert that they are similar or share a likeness. Thus an analogy is derived of a comparison; an analogy is a form of comparison.
So in that case, you're totally wrong fricktard.
It is, however, important for people to understand that Saban was using an analogy in doing so and that analogies often take 2 things that are notably unlike and point out similarities in particulars, thus Saban's doing of it wasn't a bad analogy in that it was logically false, but more that common sense and a little perspective should have maybe led him to recognize that that comparison of events was not the most appropriate. This, though, can only be achieved through comparisons, and if you (Teague) continue to reject this in your argument then you are only making yourself look like a colossal dumbass in a thread where you ironically enough try to suggest that Miles is a dumbass.

I know you and the rest of Alabama are excited, but you need to realize that this Alabama team hasn't accomplished anything just yet. They just won a few games. Some of those wins were impressive wins, but those wins don't make Alabama the champion of anything.
Until Alabama wins the SEC, SEC west, or even a BCS Bowl Game, you will look like a dumbass homer when you come over here gloating because your team hasn't proved anything or won anything yet. You have a good coach, but he isn't worth treating like a deity.
