but i agree with it.
but its not some slap in the face to say miles wouldnt have been able to build a program that saban could. saban is the best and most accomplished coach in cfb history.
he has gone to 2 meh programs and resurrected both.

Miles has a list of faults as long as your arm, but the number one Lingering effect is the inability to attract quality QB's.
Miles' desire to run the ball led to QB's not wanting to come here. As good a recruiter as he was in areas, he had an inability to assess good QB's, and develop them. That continuing failure led to a perception that LSU is where QB's come to die.
That failure led to the current situation of still struggling on offense.

If that’s the way you want to look at it. Sure.
Although i’m no fan of coach O, I still support the team with every once of energy in my body and yet I still get idiots telling me that I hate LSU and want them to lose, and I should just “shut up and support the team” like “good fans” do. I consider that self righteous.

Like I said the older coaches get hired, if they are good. Miles is average, so most ADs will pass. I have heard Miles interviewed. He by all means wants to coach. He just cant get a job.
