Or maybe it was b/c we couldn't throw the ball there was 9 guys in the box.

I think you need to watch the games again and count the number of times our backs lowered their head and rammed into the back of the o-line.
I agree that the line wasn't great, and even that the holes opened in the wrong place, but the back has to be able cut back and hit the hole. If we can't expect our backs to this, then how can we expect our QB to do it, and then gripe cause he takes sacks and has to leave what little pocket he has. Then attribute those bad plays to him not being "an SEC caliber QB". It's a simple observation, and I am pretty sure it's not far off from being correct, but you know what they say about opinions....
