Dont be worried that they beat Vandy, Washington beat USC.

every game is a dangerous game for lsu.

I don't know if I'd use the word dangerous, but I can't think of an SEC game on our schedule that I'm SURE we'll win by 4+ TDs. No knock on JJ or any of our QBs, but we just don't have the experience at that position to be lethal on offense this season. I think we'll be more explosive on offense next season, even though we lose a ton of firepower--I really think this will be compensated somewhat by the experience our QBs gain this season.

In the meantime, I don't see us blowing many teams out this year, nor do I see us losing any games by 20-30 points, which happened twice last season. 24-14 Tigers this Saturday.

Mississippi State hasn't been a dangerous game for us since 1994 (save for the 1999 game).

i think vegas has honed in on us. they actually nailed the ull game.
If not for the garbage TD to Washington, LSU would have been right around the number every week.

It seems the LSU is playing to the level of their competition instead of the above and beyond we have grown accustomed to the last 8-9 years

We have played down to the competition plenty of times in the last 8-9 years - see UAB, Troy (both times), Tulane, Florida (03), Kentucky (02, 07), a couple of Ole Miss games, Oregon State (04). We just tend to have short memories.
