I love the Honey Badger but having him at an outside corner all game scares me a little, big recievers always seem to be able to out muscle him for yards.
Of course if he strips them twice a game it will be worth it...

I'm sorry...I thought this was a baseball thread.

I think Ware will continue to start at RB and will prob declare for the NFL after this year.

If Josh D. is healthy, he will be on the line somewhere. If we have learned anything from Les, when he likes a player, he LIKES A PLAYER.
I also think we will see a lot of Martin and Vinson in the secondary. Also, by mid-season one of the freshman LB's will move into the starting rotation for Barrow. Coaches seem to like Jones and Minter. At DE, look for a lot of Rasco and Edwards. DT scares me a bit. I think Freak will be strong, but Brockers commanded a LOT of double teams, and still made plays. Brockers will be the hardest piece to replace on D.

Think HB7 looks better on the outside than he does in the slot. His coverage skills seem to be better suited to covering wide than the slot. Look for Simon to play the Claiborne/PP7 bump and run, with HB7 to give more cushion on the off-side. Vinson or Martin will play nickel.

Josh D will most def be staring he could have been our best OL this year had it not been for injury. If Collins starts it will be in front of Wiliford and in that case Wiliford will be a very good 3rd Guard.
OL is much deeper this next year, the way I see it.

He may start but Ware, Ford, Blue and even Hill will have something to say about that.
Too deep this year.

There are higher expectations for this team than any LSU team ever (or since I have been a fan.)

collins over williford on the line next to faulk...
need another corner, TM7 is not a cover corner, he's a nickel, Vinson would be good, but he plays saftey....good news is there isnt a prime WR in the SEC.. need another corner over 6ft tall that can run like a deer...would love to see landry there but i have a feeling he will be a great WR..
LB play is a ?...minter and barrow are ok...wish loston would move down or have Maclin anchor the middle...
Worry about replacing Brockers the most...think freak will do good though
Need a big "tall" WR...Mett will unleash the deep ball.
I still think shep's talents havent been utilized and I think next year could be a massive year for him if used properly...I still think he is the most talented player on the team...I think having Mett will help a lot...

expectations worry me, puts pressure on the players, but, the sting of the loss may offset this...
I still think Mett will blow it up next year....hell he may even be a dark horse heisman canidate....i think he is that good, as sure as I was that JJ was that bad two years ago...

Clement on a seam route down the middle of the field could be a great play for us this year if his hands improve a little.
Dude is all balls - his hands will appear to have improved simply due to Mett throwing the ball - not JJ. Crossing the middle he will powder some DB's on contact.

You got the inside scoop or something? How do you know what the lineup is gonna be?

I think Martin will start over loston.

I think Chase has the potential to have a huge year. He really does have great hands. The few balls he did drop when he had the chance to catch a pass were bad throws. The only catch that I can remember that he dropped was against Oregon that would have been a great catch. He was separated from the ball as soon as he had to go up high to try and catch it.

I'm excited about the possibilities too. With his height, he's more of a mismatch than Dlo was. Hopefully he gets some chances to catch some passes and I dont think he's gonna down as easily as Dlo used to.

My Starting Lineup for 2012
I think Collins starts on the O line
I wonder if Josh Dworzcak has already been turned down for a medical hardship ???

true, and i think it will be for all pass catchers....amazing how a good QB can make others reach their potential...i swear i think RR leaving for the draft is a huge mistake..
