Loston is a true safety. Hes not a tweener like chad jones, francois, or maybe hatcher, although hatcher is leaner than I thought. I think jones or francois would take over for harry before loston. Loston is way too fast to be at LB.

I also heard Stefon Francois would be moved to OLB.

he hasn't really shown much yet, and some players struggle coming back from knee injuries. I won't get excited about having him back until I know he's healthy -->see Broussard and Deuce

LT--> Chris Faulk may be the most talented olineman on our roster. He is big tall and athletic. I look for him to push people around at the LT spot and be a dominant run blocking tackle.

Hardrick has basically been promised this spot in recruiting. If he sticks with us he'll probably start here. Look for Faulk to start at RT in 2011 after Barksdale leaves.

LG-->, we return Josh Dworaczyk. Although he has a big frame, he needs to put on at least 20 lbs this offseason. He has all the tools to be a dominant guard, and with some extra weight and a full offseason of coaching, he should show some major improvement.

This was a weak spot all year in running the ball between the tackles. He needs to put on A LOT of weight. Not just 20 pounds. He has the frame easily for 320. Get to the buffets Josh.

quote:

C--> i don't want to get into it, but the offseason should be a battle. It isn't all about size here, but whoever plays must be smart. Helms wasn't the best blocker, but he was smart enough to get the job done. Hopefully experience brings improvement

Hebert is coming off a serious injury and I expect big things from him next year. With the experience of this year, being 100% healthy and adding on some needed weight this should be a strength next year.

quote:

RG--> Alex Hurst adds at least 30 pounds at this position. This should help our run game.

Don't forget about Blackwell here. He is a road grater.

RT-->Barksdale is an absolute beast and should improve.

Barksdale has been definitely disappointing to me. Don't understand where you think he's a beast but he gets beat a ton in pass blocking.

I think he deserves a mention instead of pretending like he doesn't exist though. And coming back from the actual injury prob had very little to do w/ Alley's downfall

gators,

Of course, the return every defensive starter.....

oh wait.

I forget LSU is the only team in the country that suffers from attrition.

Nevermind what happened 2 years ago to Florida.

that is good news. I didn't even look at incoming recruits. Depth is always great.

agreed

He is inconsistent is his major problem. He is either great or terrible...he is still learning the position and is a pretty good run blocker. Very athletic.

similar size. Loston is not going to beat out Jones if Jones comes back. He is too good to keep off of the field.
