Keiland should start. Use Charles for fullback and 3rd and 2/3 situations

Jefferson had an opportunity to play because Lee got the high ankle sprain in the Ole Miss game.
Utter and complete nonsense to act like Lee would have continued to start if not for an injury. His record 7 INTs for TDs spelled doom for him. Apparently, you spent last season in a coma or maybe you were watching another "purple and gold" team.

IMO, LSU has not had consistently high-level QB play since its NC. Youth is inconsistent, and that has been the case, whether its Lee or Jefferson. Some of JJ's passes look horrible, they just have not ended up in the hands of the defense (this is not insignificant, though). Some of Lee's passes AND decisions last year looked horrible as well - this can all be explained by youth. This team needs more time to gel, and our QB needs more time to get ready for big time competition. Does anybody remember how many bullets Jamarcus threw at Bowe's feet? Or behind him?
JJ seems to have better awareness in game situations than JL showed last year, and I think he should be the starter over JL, and can only hope that his better awareness will allow him to adjust to the college game without making the huge mistakes that JL made last year.
Having said that, after two ugly wins, I'd take 10 more ugly wins this year if that's what it takes.

Lee had thrown 15 INTs already prior to Ole Miss and was still the starter going into that game. Do you believe Les would have started Jefferson regardless of the injury?
Obviously Jefferson showed the coaches enough in the Ole Miss game to earn their trust for the rest of the season.

There are a few huge differences that put Jefferson way ahead of Lee:
1) mobility....Lee moved like the Titanic AFTER the iceberg hit
2) decisionmaking....I can't ever remember Lee throwing the ball away...EVER! And who can forget the Alabama OT where Lee had half the field to judge with 2 receivers and 3 defenders in pass coverage. One receiver was double covered...the other one wasn't. Guess which one he threw to.
3) accuracy...I also can't remember Lee throwing a decent screen pass or pass out into the flat. He threw a good deep ball and decent slants but that was it.
4) poise...what is the reason why some players do well at camps and in practices where they can't be hit and then stink it up in games? Answer...it is called lacking poise in pressure situations.

So again Les had not pulled Lee from starting any game prior to him getting injured. Why do you think Les would have made the choice against Arkansas/GT had Lee not gotten injured.

According to Miles, Jefferson hurt his wrist in the Miss State? game I believe and was going to be RS. But Lee stunk it up so much that Miles had no choice but to change QBs. Jefferson had 2 good games after throwing the ball into the turf most of the time in the Troy State game I believe.

Uh, I believe "forcing a pass" has been tried before...actually at least 7 times last year which resulted in 49 points for the opposition after PATs were converted. Thanks but no thanks on "forcing a pass deep".
And your point?
JLee only lost 3 games, to teams ranked #1 BTW. Then he got hurt. So even with his mistakes, LSUs offense wasnt on life support, like it is now. LSU got zero defensive support last year. So, you might want to get mentally prepared for JLee to do some more "forced deep passing" this year. Cuz 120 yds passing wont cut in against any other SEC team. And we've seen every SEC team since Ark stack the box to make JJ beat them.

Asked and answered in post made at the same time as yours. Jefferson hurt his wrist in the Miss State game according to Miles public statements and he was headed towards a RS.

Again answer the question and quit avoiding, the reason Jefferson got to play against Ole Miss the way he did was a Lee injury. Like I said before he apparently showed enough to the coaches to start against Arkansas. Had Lee not gotten hurt, Jefferson would not have played 3 quarters and shown the coaches anything.

And Again, this is going to go back to Lee debate when it should. Jefferson did not have 2 good games, he had 2 good halves.

Huh??? Georgia was not ranked #1 when he threw 2 INTs returned for TDs. And his INT for a TD was the difference in a game against Alabama that shouldn't have even gotten to OT. "every SEC team since Ark stack the box"??? Really, every single one!!!! Oh wait, that is exactly 1 SEC team isn't it? Vanderbilt.

Yet earlier you indicated that Miles would have chosen Jefferson as a starter over Lee with Lee's play. Yet over course of season that was never the case so I am wondering why you believe this? He could have started Jefferson for the Troy game, or the Ole Miss game due to Lee’s poor play but instead choose Lee in those games.

Neither was Fl, but look where they ended up????
And the other point was, since watching film of JJ in the Ole Miss game, all SEC teams are now stacking the box. It just started with Ark.

Like I've said many, many times:
JJ has a very tiny margin for error with some of these "fans".
LSU is 2-0 against two BCS teams and JJ has yet to commit a turnover of any kind, all the while being subjected to brutal hits from defenders as a result of porous pass protection.
To these ans, does he get credit for the wins so far? Apparently not. But it's JJ's fault that the line is blocking so poorly.
Oh yes--you better believe he gets the blame.
You think this unnecessary critcism of JJ is bad?
You ain't heard nothing yet.
Wait until he has his first turnover.
Then these LSU "fans" will really pile on.
In their eyes, JJ has to be ten times better than Jarrett Lee to be considered his equal. We already knew that when he was named the starter.
Think I'm exaggerating?
JJ's target was actually held, he threw the ball, and the defender picked it off.
But in these "fans'" eyes, Jefferson threw a bad pass. The fact that Dickson was held was just an instance where the ref bailed him out.
Let's just conveniently ignore the fact that because Dickson was held, he was unable to catch the pass.
Heck, in these "fans'" eyes, JJ actually already has an interception.
Wow.
Yep--ol' JJ was just lucky the ref chose to bail him out.
I wish the ref had been there to bail Jarrett Lee out last year--sixteen times.
In 2009, while Jordan Jefferson is the starter, LSU will have to score at least 45 points a game, he will have to post at least a 120 QB rating for the season, and the Tigers will have to make it at least to the SEC Championship Game. Or else JJ will be called a total and complete failure by all of them.
And then those same "fans" will find a way to blame him for every single loss since Matt Flynn left, along with the impending collapse of LSU athletics. That is, if they don't blame him for all that already.
JJ will also need to discover a safe, alternative energy source and then find a way for mankind to properly utilize wormholes.
Maybe then he will be considered Jarrett Lee's equal.
JJ--I feel sorry for you man. You're in a no win situation.

which means ppl can now stop crediting JJ for his "deep pass" TD in the bowl game. Since as you said, a flag on the play, means it didnt happen.

Thank you for continuing to prove my point.
To "fans" like you, JJ can't win--
no matter how many games LSU wins.

the reason i bring the bomb to Lafell up is because it shows JJJ's arm strength when throwing deep,
The Bowl TD that was called back =/= Dickson getting held which allows the defender to make a easy catch
