I think at this point the dream scenario is that we win the next 4 games 3-0 every single game. Then the media could tell us all how bad offense was the cause and not good defense

It was his to steal.

STFU and enjoy the fact that we're winning.

This thread is a perfect example of the fan-made "QB Controversy". People have an immediate, knee-jerk, emotional response to JJ starting in a mean-nothing game vs a trash opponent, without regard to the motive behind the action.

Never in my life has a fan base of the unanimous #1, 10-0 team kvetched so much about so little.

Not a full 7 days after victory in the Game of the Century, my kids and I had to listen to muttering, complaining fans all around us in Tiger Stadium throughout a 42-9 Homecoming win. I guess I shouldn't be surprised it's gone on for a week.

It's an embarrassment to my alma mater.

Lee is starting tomorrow, per the "insiders" on the pay boards.

I think it's insane that people think we should change starters after how well our offense has played all year with lee at the helm.

I haven't thought about this angle yet... Interesting....

Folks, this is truly the Golden Years of LSU football. Enjoy it!!!!! I remember cutting back flips in my yard when we got invited to the Independece Bowl. It could still be like that but it's not...

How insane would have been if the team had lost?

Is that what really happened in your mind? You recognize of course that Lee (Full disclosure: I like all of our QBs) could not have led the team to victory at Bama, right? It happens.

Although it did not lead to points, Lee secured victory against Bama in 2010 - QBing is more than just leading scoring drives, though that is a big part of it.

The best thing for Lee was to sit for the rest of the Bama game. WKU was Alfred Blue's coming out, not Jefferson, who was merely adequate. Lee led a nice drive and it was good to see him with confidence back.

Do you have any doubts over the next 2 games (and beyond) that if, for example, Jefferson stalls on a couple of drives, he's not replaced? I don't. That's the nature of the 2 QB system - you go with the hot hand and change things up. Sometimes a kid can pick up things from the sideline that the guy in the game can't see. That's the only reason to have a 2 QB system and the Lee-disciples (many are Sabanistas, to be honest) refuse to acknowledge this.

You know...it was against Alabama. If you've paid attention, their defense is pretty damned good.

Actually, his drive led to 6 pints and a win on the road against the number 2 team in the nation.

But yeah, this needed another thread.

So, if/when LSU wins the SEC and MNC this year, are we going to sit around and gripe, complain and question the quarterback play? Or, are we going to be happy that LSU wins their third title in the past 8 seasons? Because, quite honestly, I'm confused about how I am supposed to feel about this team. I guess winning really doesn't solve any problems.

Cheer your team on. That's what I'm gonna do. I hope both quarterbacks account for 3 touchdowns each in ther BCSCG

If T-Bob started we'd likely have the same results.

Let's take over this thread and turn it into one about Mr. T-Bob Hebert. I for one am sick of seeing T-Bob either being pushed into the backfield with our running backs or standing all alone at the line of scrimmage while the man he was supposed to block is dropping our running back for a 5 yard loss. I'd rather argue about T-Bob vs Lonegron (sp) than JJ vs JL.

Jefferson's playing time involves photographs of Les on a drunken night by the Ag Center Sheep pens, but we are not at liberty to discuss the specifics of the allleged incident at this time.
