I bet most posters are mad that the players are sticking together and not turning on Miles. They'd hate it if we rallied and won some games.

What are you talking about?? Please show me where people have been saying this and more than 1 person bc yes you might have a few but most of the complaints I hear are legit.

LINK

Not exactly the same, but look at all the upvotes for people wanting LSU to lose on Saturday.

Such great fans here at LSU.

He's not putting a competitive team on the field anymore people?? I will NOT put up with this coach any longer. GT

Earlier today we were simply mediocre. Now we're not even competitive? I tremble at the thought of how bad we'll be tomorrow.

It is ridiculous. I'm fully capable of criticizing this staff and the performance Saturday without hoping for a 5+ loss season just to get rid of Miles.

I have zero doubt there is a sizable contingency on this site that would rather be 6-6 and Miles out the door than 11-1 with an SEC CG berth and a vote of confidence for Miles.

These last few days have shown how reactionary/pathetic our fan base is.

We lost to a top 20 team, who's had a top 5 defense like 3 years running, in front of 80% of their fans.

Yeah, we have a shitty offense. Yeah, Miles sucks. Yeah, he should be fired unless the team turns it around and wins a lot of games and hopefully the West.

But I've said this time and time again the last few days. We've won a lot of games over the years with a bad/mediocre offense and a good/great defense. Everyone keeps throwing out the line about how "nothing has changed." Well, you can't have it both ways. If nothing has changed, then we still have a chance to win a good amount of football games this year.

Our two hardest games are at home. We have a decent chance to be 6-2 heading into the Alabama game, and that's all we need to still control our own destiny.

Oh, no question.

A portion of our fan base would rather go 6-6 than win the SEC. Think about how crazy that is.

Yes we can win a GOOD amount but at LSU that's not good enough on a yearly bases with the most talented team you've had in years. This isn't the last couple of years this year is different or did you forget that we just had the most juniors come back for their senior year and had the least amount of early departures we've had in years. Why did they come back? To win a championship and what I saw and what everyone else is complaining about is that we didn't see championship football and not even close. If it want for the defense we get blown out. But ok

No shite they want to win. Their coach that can't game plan and utilize them to their full potential is what's going to keep them from it.

But ok

We didn't see championship football on Saturday. And if we don't see it much this season, Miles should and will be fired. Period.

It was one game, against a team that was better than we though. In their home state.

I'm not saying we're going to win the West. I'm just saying the people giving up on this season already are absolutely pathetic fans.

Most not all but most of the complaints I hear are legit. Of course you have the idiots but I dont pay those folks any mind. I'm not worried about a few fans in our fan base, I'm worried about our head coach and wether or not he can keep up anymore. It's been a while and if they do turn it around great but what people are saying is when is enough, enough? When will we say ok that's it I no longer believe you can do the things you are paid good money to do here at LSU?

Yeah Saturday was awful.

No, under no realistic circumstance will Miles be fired during the regular season.

Yes, every preseason goal the team has is still attainable at this point. You may already be penciling in 7-5 or 8-4, but hopefully this team doesn't have that same attitude.

When we've got 3+ losses by the end of November. There is nothing good that comes from making that public decision any sooner than that.

Arkansas got beat bad by USC then only lost to LSU after that and made it to Atlanta.

I doubt that happens, but this team will win some games.

Well I can only judge by what I've seen so for and its not looking good. I have no doubt this team will play with pride but from what I saw they really have some work to do and better turn up the attitude volume and play with some heart and smarts. The defense will be special real soon, I know we found our guy here. Once they get the right personnel and the calls get more in depth watch out. The offense and ST wow

Agreed. I don't blame someone for having a rough outlook at this point, but others have taken it to the point that they're ready to concede the season if it means Miles is gone.

Y'all don't know me but I would be one hellava pre game and half time speaker for this team. I can pump some boys up!!! These guys need some kind of enthusiasm and confidence builder. Harris needs to light this JVS team up this week. The OL needs to push them all over the field and ST needs to be close to flawless. They need to be much better than they were.
