After this year's gauntlet, I'll give them a pass. But they need to do better after next year.

Maybe we should have played WV next season.

This team has fed off this year's schedule, and I'd argue gotten better because of it. Three OOC cupcakes and one decent big conference team, ALL AT HOME, will not do much for us (and I'm not even talking about perception-wise -- for which it will kill us).

didn't we pick up usm for a game in the next few years?

USM has been on the schedule for i dont know how many years. They continue to "postpone" year after year.

we may drop Townsen, but not because of the addition on aTm or Mizzou. We will stay at 8 conference games! At least we better. A 12 game season minus 8 conference games equals 4 non-conference games. Please stop saying we are going to drop Townsen BECAUSE of aTm or Mizzou.

I don't know about the A&M/Mizzou deal, but we should drop them, PERIOD. I think we should play at least one road OOC every year. We need to set up a home-and-home with someone.

Given that Mizzou just got added...who knows. I'm sure the SEC needs to vote on how the new alignment is going to look before they can release a schedule.

Yeah the tough schedule has really really helped LSU. If we drop just one game we are out of the NC game behind other one loss teams. Big help.

I can dig that But, the club and suite holders want more home games

We'll see who wins out.

Got nothing to do with pussy has everything to do with how much it has helped us.

pretty sure going to nine games has already been mentioned. Its all over the expansion board.

We will almost have to with 14 teams.

You contend it has not helped us?

We played a decent OOC teams on the road each year we've won the BCS, as we did this year. Why would you possibly advocate a different scheduling philosophy?

Because getting banged up with injuries and having to play at a high level EVERYWEEK isn't condusive to going undefeated.

Some people bitched about it, but playing Oregon in game one was the best thing LSU could have done. It was a winner all the way around.

I believe a huge reason LSU is kicking so much arse has to do with the off-season preparation that went into defeating Oregon.

Also, in the event LSU wins the NC, 8 out of 14 games played AWAY from Tiger stadium this season.
