Why should he go to the bowl game when LSU is actively trying to lose it? If the head coach is volunteering to lose a game and is not going to make any effort to win it, why on earth should a fan waste money going to the game?

Quite frankly, that mean shite to the performance of the team. You really put too much significance on your fandom.
If Miles were to replace the D coordinator RIGHT now and the guy didn't even get a month to get familiar with the players much less get an entire scheme drawn up based on the talents of each individual we'd lose the bowl by 3+ TDs. Then all of the rantards would be calling for that guy's head too.
