LSU's talent is tremendous every year because he has kept up the recruiting Saban started
No, he keeps up the recruiting GD started, NS improved, and LM has continued eight years.

LSU wins games because of sheer talent, has nothing to do with the coaching
BS!
You think these kids come here at 18 and play the game even against the best schools in college football on their own.
Wait, I almost forgot, idiots like you do.

No, man you know exactly what I mean. Don't turn around what I said. The media gave them another chance they did not deserve, but it still counts regardless. Furthermore, if LSU would have taken them out (if not for the shoddy playcallin that twice killed drives in Bama's redzone) last season, the injustice from the season before could have been atoned.

I really didn't. You asked why LSU hasn't beaten them when it counted. They did, on 11/5.
If you meant has LSU beaten them in a championship game with literally everything on the line, then obviously that answer is no.
But I'd point out the odds of that ever happening are very very small, because 99.9% of the time, the November game is the only chance Miles or Saban ever gets to beat the other.
November is when it counts, and Miles has beaten Saban 2 of those last 3 games and almost did it a 3rd straight year this year.

That's fair enough, brah. We'll see what happens this Nov, at least Mile's won't be in control of the offense this time around, I hope.

Anyone who still makes Saban vs Miles arguments just does not want to see that Saban is the better coach. BUT, that goes for EVERY coach in comparison to Saban. The man has 4, yes, 4 NC rings with two programs. Let it go. The true argument is has Coach Miles taken this program to the heights under his tenure that it was capable of reaching. I think maybe we could have achieved at least two more crystal balls given our talent over his tenure. But a lot goes into winning it other than coaching. But coaching is a huge part. I think he is a good coach. Second in the league given his accomplishments with the program. Still don't know why he gets the treatment he gets from fans and non fans alike. Just my 0.02 cents, which is exactly what it is worth.

I feel another one coming this year.

Wow you suck at life and sports.

It amazes me how anyone who claims to be a fan of LSU more than 15-20 yrs can't respect the effort/coaching going on here since 2000.
We didn't win 133 games, 2nd only to Oklahoma in BCS wins, without some fine coaching, on the whole, going on in that period.
We lead the SEC, the very most powerful football conference in the college game, in wins since 05. You don't do that without coaching, talent, and luck.

People used to fear us, now, because of Les, we're no longer the feared ones.
wtf? I think every team in the SEC pretty much figures a loss when they see LSU on their schedule except maybe Bama and they know it will be a tough game no matter how good they are or down we are.

I like Les but of course sometimes you finish watching a game thinking we could of won a game that we lost or beat a team by far more points but hes gotten us to a couple of couple of championship games and many of SEC championships so I dont care what others say as long as we competitive,

Les Miles is respected as a H.C. for keeping LSU a perennial power in the SEC. However, he is not renowned for his coaching ability on offense or defense.

lol i know that more being an LSU fan bro than u being osu fan he is not on same level as nick saban or even urban myer but is a damn good coach
Posted on 4/16/13 at 11:50 pm to CptBengal
So all those coaches you think are better than him, he's beaten almost two to one. But you're stupid enough to try the "well we gots LA talent" line when that shite never happened prior to 2000.
You know if people think that talent makes the coach, maybe they should recruit some like we do EVERY YEAR so it looks as easy as it does for Les.

Obviously because they're so much better than him.

But yet your standard does not apply to the others. This pretty much says it all.
