sweet ! thx ! measured the distance and its 0.69 miles as the crow flies so maybe a mile, mile and a half at worst! Not Bad !

I liken it to LSU's tigerland bars...it's just a few doors down from Gator City. Honestly, Gator City is a bigger bar, so that might be the better choice. Either one will be fun

They're different. The Swamp is a purely a restaurant (with a bar). I like their food, so I'd say it's a good place to go get dinner and beers before "going out." I will definitely be very busy all weekend. They have a really nice outdoor patio too...
Gator City does serve food, has tvs, but I've never eaten there. It has several bars and has a dance floor/music/pool tables in different areas.
If you want dinner, go to Swamp. If you want to "go out," go to both or Gator City.

yeah i was there too in '06...tons of lsu fans, along with The Swamp bar...lsu pretty much took over those 2

Meg is Gator City the old Purple Porpoise? If so I f'in love that place. We took over in 2000, and again in 2002, and again in 04, etc.
