Yeah....it's always bad against them, but this might be the worst I've seen. They are absolutely killing us and getting no calls.

Call me crazy but I refuse to watch an LSU vs TN Women's Basketball game. Watching Pat Summit nauseates me and not once have I ever seen a game where they don't get the calls. Women's Basketball is tough to take as it is but to watch Pat Summit is too much for my stomach.

We're in. These announcers were idiots. I haven't seen any projections that don't have us in the tournament. The only way we miss out is if we lose the last 2 and go one and done at the tourney.

I am sure not expert on basketball but I have followed BB long enough to ask questions. Did you notice that when we went to the press we picked off a few and got the ball back up for a score? When we let a team set up in a half court O the team with the height will have the advantage. Why not get them out of their O before they can get down and set up for the inside game? At least mix it up a few times down court.

Yeah.....we're still the number one defense in the conference, but the style of play has been much more laid back and we're playing much more zone. We really haven't been able to stop anyone who has had big girls downlow. All year long we've let them make the pass into the lane, four feet from the basket. Our biggest problem is offesnively,however. Other than Hightower and Barrett, we have no consistent scorer. Graham is coming on and has been good, but she may go 3 or 4 games with 2 or 4 points. We seem to constantly try to drive the lane and end up getting shots blocked or just having them take the ball away. We don't have the strength from our inside players to go up with the ball and get it over the rim. UT was scoring with us hanging on their arms we were throwing up air balls from 2 feet out.

we have no pg..lsu womens basketball was at it's best when they had a decent point guard like temeka johnson or erica white..hughes and eason both suck.imho

Look, Tennessee is a better team and deserved to win tonight. But LSU really blew some very good chances to cut into the Tennessee lead in the second half.
There were a lot of mistakes in the game and plenty of blame to go around. But I must admit that I thought #22 did not play well at all. She kept forcing shots inside and getting them blocked, and she also missed some gimme layups. There was a point where LSU was down by 10 and got the ball with a chance to cut the lead to single digits. She got the ball to the right of the basket and was triple teamed but still forced up the shot, which was easily blocked. I kept waiting for Coach C. to sit her on the bench, but she was still in the game at the end.
I know that Tennessee is very good defensively, but when it is clear that you are outgunned you need to pull it back out and let the offense set up for a better shot.

I think half of those blocks should have been fouls because the Tenn girls got our girl with the body. Some where not clean blocks, but when the refs don't call one they seem to let the others go to.
