I missed the part where it says OSU is an NFL team
I don't think anybody denies that there's a lot of talent on this team including 4 probable first round picks this year. I think most preseason rankings go by how the teams look on paper, and on paper OSU is pretty stacked.

Yes, even though no one knew who Vernon Gholston was before the season started last year.

Not to mention if Beanie Wells comes out early, even though during the offseason he said he's coming back for his senior season.
Yeah we've got some juniors, too, you know. And Wells isn't going pro (congrats), so he's out of the discussion.

SI.com NFL draft analyst Tony Pauline, who runs TFY Draft service, projects nine Ohio State starters to be selected in the first three rounds next April, including three sure first-rounders (RB Chris Wells, CB Malcolm Jenkins and LB James Laurinaitis) and three others who could join them (DT Doug Worthington, LB Marcus Freeman and WR Brian Robiskie)
So it sounds like it's this year or bust to be the GOAT.

Now you are reaching. Robiskie is too slow.
He's just as fast as Michael Jenkins.

Doug Worthington? He got his arse handed to him last season.

1st Rounders:
-Laurinaitis
-Jenkins
-Beanie
-Boone
2nd Rounders:
-Freeman
-Rerhing
-Worthington
3rd Rounder
-Robiskie
That's what I can think of off the top of my head, and Lawrence Wilson will be in the top 3 somewhere too I think, but too big of a question mark right now to put him in a round.

Which is why I predict Jenkins will drop as the draft approaches and other prospects who have better speed emerge at the combines. As for Robiskie, he does not run a sub-4.5 40 time and that will hurt him. Besides that, he doesn't have exceptional talent that can excuse his lack of speed. He will not be a first rounder. Look at the draft trend from last year...NFL teams are going for speed.
I mean seriously, tOSU could end up with 1 first rounder, Laurinitis.

go ahead & throw in al woods just based on potential to the list of jr first round picks

That is simply not true. Let the great preseason Big 10 hype officially begin.

Michael Jenkins is a former OSU receiver with very similar characteristics of Robo (not a burner, runs great routes, with exceptional hands) and the first round pick of the Atlanta Falcons a few years ago.

Yea, because nobody will take the the best CB or one of the best OL in the country in the first round. And don't listen to what beanie says...Gonzo said he was coming back for his final year of eligibility but bolted too. If Beanie wins the Heisman or National Championship, he's gone.

I forgot Alexander. I don't think he's a first rounder but he could be high.
Taylor, Helms and Favorite have a chance to be drafted.

Black, Francois, and Keiland are the only ones I would put on that list.
Keiland won't have the numbers or attention, but he certainly has the speed. Ciron won't go pro.
The only junior who might make the jump is RJF, the way I see it anyways.

When Robo was recruited he ran a 4.52...I'm pretty sure he can go sub-4.5 now....

I don't think he's the best. A lot of times guys get pegged as the "best" but then get passed up as other prospects emerge. I wasn't terribly impressed with him.

Again, Boone is completely overrated. Even the article is saying that he isn't a first rounder.

OSU guys, you have players, no doubt, but compare them to LSU players still in the league 3 years from now.

Totally, my bad. I was thinking Malcolm.

I don't believe him one bit. Just going by what he said during the spring.

It certainly doesn't seem that way on the field. Most guys get slower as the add weight, anyways, and he has added 10 pounds according to rivals.
