2 NCs in 3 years(yea, they r gonna win). recruited a heisman winner and finalist.
4 losses last year and needed more "luck" to win his NC than Les had last year. Had more Zook players on that team than Les had Saban players.
Rantardedly speaking, Meyer is just luckier than Les right at this moment.

I couldve recruited Tebow to UF. He had decided he was going to UF as soon as he picked up a football.

You mean the highly fictioniled & dramatized Hollywood version of him handing over his playbooks?
Perhaps you are still looking. I can't find a link that says it is fiction. In fact I have found more than one link where the coach of Marshall says it is true.

Why?? He has choked alot too. No way should he have lost to OSU and UCLA the past couple of years.

Ok, I think I fixed the link and I included a couple more. Not meaning to argue, but I remember looking it up when I saw the movie and I have never seen anyone say it is not true, till you. Maybe you were there. Maybe Coach Lengyal is lying.

I think the thread would have been better off asking what is expected from a great coach
Example:
10+ wins every year
At least a Conference Championship every other year
BCS Bowl 2 out of 3 years
1-2 NC every 5 years
etc...

Les Miles is a downy. I'd rather have Chizdik as my coach.

It's true. Your coach did win 7 games & lost 6 last year.

Yep, but you're to fricking retarded to see the difference between Saban's 1st year at Bama and Miles' 4th year at LSU.

So does every coach in America...by your standards, a great coach never loses a game
