could be for lots of reasons (and ones that don't support your argument). saban could offer a recruit who is committed or seriously interested in us knowing that the recruit may change his mind based on the success bama is having, the pathetic season we had, and/or the coaching (defensive) uncertainty here.
or, how about saban was going after better recruits that now may not work out. so, with those scholarships that were reserved now available, he can go after lesser (no pun intended) recruits.
point is, your argument is ridiculous. there is no way to know why this would happen. it certainly does not mean that miles is a better evaluator of talent. look at the amount of saban recruits that are in the NFL.

Could it be that Miles is just (or better) judge of talent as your God almighty?
I hate Saban, but this is a dumbass statement. If you knew anything about recruiting, you would know that everyone in the country is going after these kids. Some of them have upwards of 50+ offers.

It couldn't have anything to do with the fact that those players (Bell, Janzen, etc.) were from Louisiana!?!?!
