maybe he feels being part of a team is more fulfilling. I have no clue. I'd assume if he COULD make that much more money, he must be compensated from somewhere else.

A lot of the leaders I go to learn from are affiliated with or are S&G coaches. They prolly make 5x more off of people like me than their "real job". If money motivatd moffitt, he wouldn't be here. There's nothing wrong with that. I bet he does some "side shite" but i;ve never seen his name out there. I can totally see where the team thing would be more fulfilling

I don't think you can blame Moffit for the O-line play. IMO, he needs more time to work with Dworacyzk. Dude is listed at 281. And he's 6'6!! We aint talkin about a squatty-type strength guy. I never imagined him playing this early.

T-Bob is 285 at 6'3. And I really think he is playing well, everything considered. He is much more filled out and ready to play than Dworacyzk. The only thing that slowed him at all was the knee, and i think he is gonna be a good one.

Physically, Barksdale is a beast. Media types and opposing coaches always talk about how good LSU looks in their uniforms. Baksdale is an example of that. I don't know how much credit Moffit gets for that because Joe is just a freak. He is 315, strong and lean. He just needs to translate it to the field. He doesn't play like the strongest squatter in LSU history. I would like to see him play a little meaner and nastier.

Hitt and Black are guys that I just don't understand. Both are seniors, all-sec candidates. Black has a chance to make a ton of money with a great year. But to me, his stock is nose diving. Hall Davis of ULL just took black and bull rushed him right into Jefferson. No fluke, just straight overmatched him with strength. He has been getting beat too much, but at times, you can also see that he is our best lineman. He needs to me more consistent, and i think he will be. He really needs to become the leader of this group. It would go along way if he could improve the play of the other guys.

Hitt, while never a prototype, is plenty strong and has showed that over the years. Remember, he started on the NC team. But for some reason he has been getting worked the frick over this year. And he's been getting holding penalties with that steer move shite. Remember when Keiland almost got stopped for a safety against ULL. That was on Hitt. He got blasted off the ball and driven back into Keiland. So then we decided to pass from insied the 1, and that was nearly disastrous. Hitt is capable, and I really hope he can return to form, or really exceed it and take his game to a new level. This is his last go round. I have wondered if he might be playing through injury, thats the only thing i can think of.

One thing i really don't get is why we don't substitute on the O-line. I mean, even if this group were playing at a high level, there would be many benefits to subbing. But especially with the struggles and inexperience behind the starters, I can't see why Blackwell, Spencer, Lonergan, or Shaw haven't gotten into the mix.

We really need the O-line to take it to a new level in Athens. Time for some mauling!!
