Dude you killing it here... Get rid of Ducksonmyballs and you can stay forever. That dude is going to be a ranter all-star soon and he is not even a LSU fan. I did not think that was possible.

D Thomas threw for the second highest gain in a BCS championship game including a perfect bomb from within his own 5? Something impressive is going back to see Oregons first loss against Boise ( his freshman year) and he almost brought them back from a blowout in 1 quarter. Who are we comparing here? Oregon vs LSUs QB passing ability?

First. GTFO. It's obvious who your team affiliation is.

Secondly, the debate is how good of a pocket passer is D. Thomas?

We could always compare the two QB's record in OOC games, opening games, or bowl games, if you wish.

Sorry for the bad news, but when LSU is put on the big stage we prevail and will be victorious. Enough said! Now have a nice day.

Beating an Undefeated Auburn team on national TV wasn't big enough of a stage last year?

If I recall correctly it was really ONE blown play that cost us that game.

This article speaks to why the ducks will reload on the dline. Aliotti, Oregon defensive coordinator, says:

quote:

“We played a lot of people last year, so who’s to say that Ricky Heimuli wasn’t a starter or Taylor Hart wasn’t a starter ... and on and on and on,” defensive coordinator Nick Aliotti said. “They played in big games and played valuable downs.

I am particularly interested in seeing Isasc Remington. He is all of 6'6" 286 and maybe 10% body fat. The guy looked like a blur on the edge.

I could say the same about the NCG.

Didn't know I was trying to hide it.

There is a youtube video of Thomas' highlights from last yearfrom the wines family blog. His pocket passing ability is better than what people here seem to be giving him credit for.

Update for day 4 is that the shells went on and the offense sucked but the defense rocked. Gotta love fall camp. f

Isn't your QB Jordan Jefferson? Would any tiger fan here not switch Thomas for Jefferson? I know you might have a better defense but you'd be foolish to feel extremely confident in victory with that guy taking snaps

Great first post. Please keep it up. Just messing.

Of course with JJ as our QB we never know what we are going to get. shite he was the worst rated QB in the history of college football last year and we still won 11 games.(DEFENSE)

Our OC was Gary Crowton, yours was Chip Kelly.

If Jefferson had gone to Oregon, and Thomas to LSU, Jefferson would be a big star and people would be making fun of Thomas, because Crowton ruins QBs (remember Dennis Dixon before/after Crowton?)

Let's see if JJ makes anything near the transformation that Dixon did after Crowton left.

Great point. Crowtons awful. He's a smart guy but he just can't put it all together. Down 4, with 3 minutes to go, do you feel confident in the guy? A lot more than last year?
