wo year run beating Oregon, TCU, VaTech (in essentially an away game).

its a lot easier to get up for 3 big games spread out over 2 seasons though. we have 3 bigger games in our first 4 games next season. I think the reason SEC fans hate BOise is because we just don't feel like they would ever sniff a championship having to play Florida, Bama, LSU, USCe, Georgia, Auburn and the like, year in, year out

I hear you. You are preaching to the choir. They would not go undefeated in the SEC, nor in the Pac10/12. However, in any given game, they could give any team in the country problems.

They have done an extremely good job of recruiting diamonds in the rough. Wynn was sought after by the entire pac but Baker was not touched because of a knee problem. They have gotten good kids like Root from local high schools.

precisely why the BCS needs to tell the small schools to just frick off. they should tell the big east to frick off too for that mater

It will be a good game. I am impressed by LSU fans much more than Auburn. The latter was just ingorant.

Now that's the ABSOLUTE TRUTH!!!!!!!!

you guys don't even know what real football is!!! this is the SEC!!!

that kind of stuff?

Yep, a bunch of that.... Exactly.

Here people know football, it's fun, they have knowledge, a sense of humor and that makes this a great board.

I really have to admit that one thing that's shocked me as an outsider is you always hear SEC this SEC that, SEC is ...... And you tend to think all SEC fans are alike because of this. LSU fans have taught me this isn't any where near the truth. Thank you

was it my ability to transcribe brilliant metaphors, my astonishing prose and mastery of the English language or my absurdly creative username that gave it away?

Unfortunately, TCU's win over wisc is going to give them more fire power. Wisc was legit and that win over them was legit. TCU has the leftovers of UT and TAMU and probably have just as much pull as Tech in one of the best recruiting states. Maybe they can make the least a decent conference.

what are you talking about? you're running into a gorilla with a chainsaw for a dick when you see the size and speed and depth LSU has, because it's an SEC school. you little Pac-10 gay wads have never seen football like this.

i dispute this. tehas produces huge numbers of legit recruits and TCU has it's own draw.
Tech is tier three and is in Lubbock (enough said if you've ever been there). A&M is a singular institution that either attracts or repels recruits, and TU can only sign 25. I agree that TCU's win over Wisconsin was legit and I think they are a legit program and the second best program in the state. A&M might challenge that soon as they seem to be on the rise, but TCU is better now.

Shouldn't you be studying up on BSU. Georgia has an OOC with them? You would be the laughing stock of the SEC but, then again, we will never live it down.

Good thing those receivers are gone. However, Doug Martin is freak. I wouldn't want him running at me defense.

true that. the first few years I was at LSU (1999-2000), the national media never discussed the SEC. It was all Big Ten, ACC, Big East, Big 12 and Pac 10. We were just Florida, Tennessee and the other schools from the South. We got no attention from the national media even though we deserved quite a bit.

Then teams from the SEC began dominating the media darlings, and we started screaming, "Look at us! Look at us!" in the form of "SEC! SEC!"

And now, it's really annoying, even to most SEC fans...

not with their move up to the mighty Mountain West, no way BSU gets past San Diego State, New Mexico, Air Force, Colorado State and Wyoming unscathed
