Wow. Let's see if I can talk some sense into both sides.
First of all, this crap about what happened 20 years ago means absolutely nothing for this year.
So let's talk about this year.
Oregon state: I've watched your team play and I'm impressed. However, take a look at your schedule. Not one regular season opponent made the supers. ZERO. The pac12 had 2 national seeds and one of them, Stanford got knocked out in regional play. So Oregon state beat vandy. Guess what vandy finished the sec in 8th place. Every other team that made postseason finished higher than vandy. So really you played the worst SEC team in post season play. Having said that, I think Oregon state is a top 3 team in the country as of right now.
LSU: This team is without a doubt the hottest team in the country. PERIOD. So the SEC had 2 national seeds (same as PAC12) but both are still playing. The SEC also had 6 teams make super regionals (pac12 had 1). So 38% of super regional teams were from SEC. LSU is battle tested, not so sure about Oregon state.
So to summarize I think both of these teams are elite and playing the best baseball in the country. I actually really like Louisville too. I think they are in the same level as these two. I think Louisville comes out of other bracket and faces winner of LSU/Oregon State. I think all of this will be summed up in a week anyways. I think LSU beats Florida state and Oregon state beats Fullerton. Then they can settle this on the field. That will be one hell of a ball game.
Lastly, Oregon state fans welcome to the rant. It's addictive so be careful. And if you are planning to go to Omaha, come talk to us tiger fans tailgating. We will feed you some awesome food, get you drunk, and then our baseball team will rape your team. No pun intended

I agree 100% with you. I would love to talk to them rationally about cws. But every single time you bring a new fan base to the rant, there will be atleast a couple of idiots that chase them away especially with added ammo of this rape incident
