They run a ton of people away from the Rant because many people don’t care to argue with deranged idiots or cast pearls before swine. Then they try and characterize the Rant, now an echo chamber for the deranged idiots, as some consensus of what “real fans” think.
Many of them are literally not even LSU fans and don’t even pretend to be; some fake being fans to troll; and some probably think they are fans but are so toxic and twisted that they’re more harm than good.
And it’s interesting that as long as the internet and social media has been around now, many people are still pretty naive about considering the source of things.

No. He's asking you. Not based on what people you think are idiots think.
Even if he was joking, which he more than likely was, he can't say that stupid stuff. Especially on his own radio show where anyone can hear him react like that and in front of a live audience at TJ's.
He has to be the better person and not address it, even if it really did upset him. He couldn't do it. Even when Blair tried to get it back on track, Ed just had to throw in his two cents when he should've kept his mouth shut.
He's the face of a multimillion dollar football program. He can't afford to talk smack to some prank caller.
So I'll ask you as well. Do you just think they think it?

But since 2019 it has been one PR disaster after another, coupled with losing. That’s why it is a big deal.
He’s shown he is incapable of sustaining success on the field and incapable of acting like a professional off the field. That’s why this is a big deal and that’s why he has to go.

I agree. It seems like it's every couple of days and there's something else about the guy. Maybe it's because we have a game every week and we get upset how the team looks but then you have his comments to a heckler at the UCLA game, now this radio show stuff, the story about showing up at a booster's camp, chasing the blonde girl all over creation, it's like he's trying to get himself fired at this point.

Agree. It was stupid. O’s a poor PR guy when challenged. I don’t recall anyone at all saying the comment was cool or great, as much as a joke and a poorly aimed one.

To me the issue isn’t really “O haters” vs “O cockriders” - it’s crazy people/trolls fixating on their “side” versus fact and reason and what’s best for LSU. It’d be just fricking great to have a totally logical and normal discussion about these things.

The big deal is that it's not kept private. I don't care who he chases around but there are numerous pictures that are out, how they got out, who knows, but they're out there.
It paints him in a poor light. with poor judgement. His private life needs to be exactly that, private. I can think of at least four pictures that don't do him any favors, one being when he was in L.A. when he should've been with his team instead of going site seeing with this girl.
It seems like that's all he's interested in. His main priority, the one he's paid millions to sustain, seems like it's put on the back burner, just judging from how the team has looked in the last 15 games and ironically, some of those pictures surfaced last season. Some from this season. He keeps making poor decisions with that. Keep that stuff private.
Like I said, I don't care what he does in his private life but he should keep it private and not let it affect his actual job which it sure seems to have a least distracted him some.
