You can put this thread in the top 5, probably...along with that ranter who thought we should move Trindon Holliday to defensive end, and Thudercles' thread promoting Jordan Jefferson's as a legit Heisman candidate next year.

FWIW, those Duke Lacrosse kids disagree.

Alleva hired our shitty basketball coach (I know you anti-Brady kids are still in denial...or at least your pride is), didn't hire our football coach, and stands idly by while many other perrenially good LSU programs go the way of the LSU football defense in 1998.

Geaux99 and others have mis read this post it was strictly related to the AD [after knowing that Les had the best OC and DC in the SEC] was wise enough to extend Les' contract for 7 years. It is a legitimate question to ask how many SEC Championships will the football tigers win in this time period.

Good to see you on the Rant Mr. Alleva...

Seriously, we damn near lost our coach because of that "nice season" letter he wrote for no apparent reason. He is a dip shite who can't keep his mouth shut. Had we lost CLM over his failure to support him, it would have been a disaster-similar to the one he created at Duke. He is brash and impulsive, not good qualities for a person in his position.

What about basketball team... or womans basketball.... or softball.... or baseball.... or tennis.... or track....

*Cox Academic Center for Student Athletes - #1 in the country.
*Graduation rates and GPA for all scholar-athletes - improving every year.
*Football team - second only to Vanderbilt last few years.
*Entrance and test score requirments - higher every year.
*Tier 1 institution - Forever LSU Top 30 quality thrust - Jindal's budget cuts notwithstanding

*Men's basketball - needs another 1 or 2 good recruiting years to get NCAA tourney caliber

*Women's basketball - needs 1 more good recruiting year, will be back in Top 10. Top 25 right now

*Women's softball - perennial Top 10-15 program.

*Baseball - speaks for itself, perennial Top 5-10

*Track - Both Men's and Women's teams ranked in the Top 5 right now

*Gymnastics - perennial Top 5-15 program.

*Tennis, Golf, Swimming, Diving, Rugby, Soccer,
Cross Country, Lacrosse, Jai Alai, Full Contact Chess - ?

Well at least he didn't get rid of Pat Henry. He has won the last two national titles in womens and mens track and field at Texas A&M. Great job by skip letting a guy who won 27 National Titles for the school go. And his team but LSU the past weekend.

Hate to burst your bubble but alleva didn't hire les, and honestly probably had no effect on les staying. Not that he isn't the best AD in the nation, but your reasoning is weak

I vote for TheBaker three SEC Champs with at least one more Crystal Ball. The TIGERS WILL BE SPECIAL FOR THE NEXT SEVEN [7] YEARS.

If he hires a real men's basketball coach, I might consider this.

Talk about someone with a chip on their soldier. I saw Pat and his family at the Cotton Bowl. They were all crying at the end. They really wanted to beat LSU.
