I really like play action early, they will be expecting us to run.

if we score first, we have a great chance of wining....we also need to keep them in bad field positions, stop the run, and put pressure on jpw.

p.s. no pick 6's!!!

I hope to God our defense does not look as confused as they did in the beginning of last weeks game.

I think what we are going to try to do is score a touchdown on every possesion and stop LSU from scoring. Damn our coach is a genious.

We must stop the 3 and outs. It amazing how good our O can look at times and still go 3 and out so many times. I felt the D did their job on the first UGa drive of the 2nd half only to see LSU O 3 and out and give the ball back to the dogs within 2 minutes. But the D is a master at giving up the big play.

ACL that is why he is the most powerful man in football. Its thinking like that that makes him the best.

Mostly the run, with some play action pass I would think. Saban will have the blitzes coming pretty often. I just hope we aren't too predictable or cute. I believe big herman will make some holes, even against Bama. If they stack the line, it WILL come down to Lee making some pass plays, at least enough to keep bama honest. KC. I hope Lee stays away from throwing in the flat. LSU CAN win this game - it will come down to desire and execution.

I say we need a good mix of Trindon with Scott pounding it inside the tackles.......

use the fricking tight end early and often....that more than anything opens up the run.... then, mix in some high long floaters down the sideline and let Lafell and Tolliver play jump ball with their corners...draw some flags for interference....

and if that doesn't work, consider a "quick kick" punting strategy on 3rd downs!!

If LSU is going to have a shot they do need to pass the ball well on early downs. And they should run to the outside. You won't sustain drives by running up the middle.

I say the first play should be an out and up to Byrd. We tell Lee to stare down the receiver and give a pump fake... Bama will jump all over that shite... Burn baby burn.

Throw deep ball to Lafell and Byrd down the side lines or deep post patterns. Burn'm once or twice. Lee has a cannon. Just avoid the screens and shallow over the middle passes.

I agree with this. Let Lee air it out some. Throw a couple of go-routes to Byrd or deep posts to Lafell. If you throw it 40 yards down the field what three things can happen?

A) Big play
B) Incomplete
C) Interception (that works like a punt)

Throw the ball deep and use the talent. We are not the same as last year. Play to your stregnths.

...Plus, most of the pick-6's have been on short passes where Lee missed a defender. If you air it out, these should be less likely.

The key is playing D...our offense has nothing to do with anything. If our D plays well, all the pressure is off the freshman. If we get into a shootout, we lose. He's not good enough yet to handle it or to win a game that's put on his shoulders.
