Well, sorry I was one of them, me and my wife have to get up at 3:45am...I wanted to get home and go to bed...sue me.
Would the extra 5 minutes the game lasted have killed your nights' sleep? I don't leave games early, but I understand that sometimes people have to. But when there's 34 seconds left, why not just stay? Do you really beat that much traffic? I know I had no problem getting home after the game, and I stayed for the ceremony afterward as well.

all i saw was a bunch of people from the top of the 300 section walk down and watch the game from the concourse .. i didn't see people piling out ..

What pisses me off at games is not people leaving early but when something great happens, you stand up and are all excited and keep standing cause you're pumped and then the fat woman behind you asks you to sit down. That pisses the hell out of me

Yeah weren't they up 5 and going to the line? I don't blame anyone for walking out at that point and time.

I left when Vandy was shooting there last free throws, it was around 20 seconds...and why do I have to stay, I went to 18 games this year and stayed to end of almost all of them...what's the big deal? Did my absence disturb your enjoyment?

Leaving the game early is not as bad as the student section chanting left-right-left-right with Taz on the line shooting a free throw. Grow up.

you mean like every school does when an opposing player fouls out?

I don't care what you do. I just don't understand the thought process of leaving with 30 seconds left. If you've stayed that long, why not just wait till it's officially over? You don't beat THAT much traffic by hanging around a couple extra minutes. If you left at the half or with 9 minutes left, then you left for some reason. But why not just stay till the end and even though we lost, show your appreciation to guys on the court who gave it their all.

wow, way to beat a dead horse once again. it seems like every time i log on people are bitching about the fans or the student section.
i thought the students were loud as hell, I was sitting right above the maniacs. And yes, I was trying to leave with 34 seconds left but didnt wanna make the people on the row get up

I'm a lot more concerned about all the people at (and caring about) the meaningless mid-week baseball game, while the SEC champions were playing an important game in March.
To say the baseball game is meaningless is just being shortsighted.

fightingtiger2335, you are one of the biggest band-wagon fans in history. You are on an LSU forum with the nick "fightingtiger" -- yet, in the last couple days you have started thread after thread pimping the SLU Lions. You are a pathetic sell-out to both LSU and SLU. You are a disgrace.
