What game were some of ya'll watching. LSU got embarassed last night. I guarantee you, USC will pound the frick out of UW. LSU, for some reason thouht they could just show up and win. I can't stand the mentality of this team.
Typical ranter. We won, so let's take some Zoloft and calm down.

Fact - the LSU defense swarmed to the ball AND played smashed mouth football
The high rate of third down conversions is cause for concern but many of these conversions were not the result of poor play... it does seems cushion in the secondary was too much.
several defensive failures were due to a failure to seal the ends...
these 'issues' will be rectified quickly.
FACT - Locker and Udub played an inyense and passionate 60 minutes of football AND their crowd was off the hook.
Provided Locker stays healthy, the huskies have a .500 or better football team... remember these coaches are bigtime college football coaches and their former head coach had tenures at Stanford. Notre Dame and Washington...
Am I happy?... not exactly but give Udub some credit for making our Tigers, and our Tiger coaches, look bad - LSU was kept offbalance much of the night... look at the difference in number of plays.
This team will find its rhythm.

-D-line had fire in them (especially in the second half.)
Did you try to slip this by us?
Our line sucked, on both sides the ball.
Period.

i must have been watching another channel??
quite the opposite of the game i saw..
it was actually one of our most easily forgettable efforts . Lackluster at best, and pathetic at worst. and quite disgusting at times...
unfortuntately, my preseason optimism is vanishing rapidly.
I think the place kicking may have been the only satisfactory aspect of the game...

It's a five hour flight, not some epic journey via covered wagon. Jeez.
and across 2 time zones too! If you don't think that affects you than you've never done it. It takes time for thebody to adjust which is why the team left on Thursday instead of Friday
