nope sorry, there are still people who believe this to be true. I should have known though. You should have added that his papers are already in and that he was seen enrolling this semester.

Unless it's different b/w sports.. my brother transfered from a D2 school to LSU for track and competed the next year without sitting.

JEEBUS!!!

RP went from DI to DII first. THAT is what keeps him from coming back up.

I do not think you can do it either way. transferring up you must sit out. I'm positive this is the case in football and basketball.

Per an unnamed source he will be heading to Texas to play under Mack Brown. This is insider information only, and as such you will understand that I cannot reveal my source. Suffice it to say that my source has ties to LSU, RP, and UT.

Mack doesn't think that Colt McCoy is cutting it. He doesn't have the quickness and vision as a runner that Vince had. Mack wants this, he craves this. Secretly he feels that if he had VY or a similar player, that he would not be watching the NCG from home. He thinks that RP is the quickest route back to the NC. Because he is going to the Big 12 and because it's Texas RP will be able to play immediately.

Conspiracy theorists have also thrown out the possibility that the BCS will actually be tweaked in order to give LSU and Texas a better shot to play against each other. It's gonna be interesting.

Saban will never take on perilloux and perilloux could NEVER handle saban. This would be a marriage in hell.

Urban meyer on the other hand might go in that Direction IF tebow goes pro but I bet he has got a contingency plan--most mediocre coaches do

ok, some sports have an exception where you can petition to play right away. Football, basketball, baseball, and hockey do not have it.

OK, now I'm confused. We need Herbstriet to clear it up and make a statement based on well placed sources. Then we'll know the opposite is true.

with his track record, i think he is just stupid enough to transfer back to the SEC and sit out his final year of eligibility.

that would be a great move on his part. that way he will always be able to say he would have won the heisman had he just been able to play.

In all seriousness, RP should finish his eligibility at the school where he is currently enrolled and try to get into the NFL. That's his only shot at this point.

Hopefully he will get a shot at the NFL and hopefully he will not blow it.
