he has already used his red shirt year. if he goes to a d-1 school he MUST sit out a year, and as he is a red shirt junior, next year he would be a red shirt senior. THEN the next year he could play... but as we all know the senior thing pretty much means it's the end of the line for his playing years. maybe bama could keep him as a spiritual advisor to star jackson. (who names their kid star??)
