I mean, would you not be concerned or upset if we were 1-2??
That's how it works, if the team wins, people are happy. If we start the season looking like shite like last year, people worry and question if the coaching staff is doing the right things.
See, we "haters" are the ones enjoying what this wins means and are looking to the future and all the great things this team and staff have the chance to achieve, which makes us happy because we know how talented these kids are and love when they are put in position to reach their full potential.
Losers like you are looking to the past to justify the inexcusable shite we saw last September instead of looking ahead because you are terrified to talk about how good this team could be because of things fall apart going forward there will be no excuses.
But by all means, keep dwelling on those past losses as though big wins now make those less disappointing, when they actually make them clear proof as to how underachieving those losses were
ETA: And for the record, we "pessimists" were the ones saying this was a 10-2 type team, while you, I suppose you'd call yourself an "optimist", were the ones saying we'd be lucky to go 8-4. How does that work exactly?

After the SLU win I thought this was a team with a lot of unrealized potential, coaches by a complete buffoon who was wasting all of the talent.
After SLU I thought this was at best a 7-5 team.
That opinion changes yesterday.
Can’t undersell a road win against a good AU team.
Still hate the way O was hired and still not convinced that he is a guy who can win a championship.
But yesterday also convinced me that it was premature to completely write him off as a failure.
A week ago I though 7-5 was the best we could do. Today I think 9-3 would be a disappointment.
We SHOULD beat everyone but GA and Bama. And if we can upset AU on the road, maybe we can get one of these at home.

Many, many more than that. And it goes further, Ensminger, McMahon....not to mention how damaging this is for recruiting. Other programs use this to negatively recruit. All I have ever wanted was to give Ed a chance. I hope he continues to say "frick Em" along with his very talented team and coaching staff.

So your saying that we’re happy because we won but we would have been mad if we would have lost? No way....
