yea the 45 points that lee has giving up on just pick 6s, not to mention the other picks that have led to points to is miles fault. that just kills a teams momentum. if we would have won the georgia and alabama games, would u still be saying that he has not earned his 3.5 mil. no u wouldnt and when it comes down to those 2 games turnovers costs us the game and thats not miles fault

The only thing that concerns me is that I thought, given our best performance of the season so far, we were going toe to toe with a mediocre team, not a great one. (anybody truly feel like Bama's a solid #1?)

With a good QB, we win that game going away. And, there were some things on the coaching side that could've been better. But, I don't blame the coaching for last night's loss, and that's encouraging. However, I do blame the coaching for several other poor performances this season, particularly on defense.

i can't see how anyone could blame bama loss on coaching, honestly. D played as good as last year's and their best game of the season. they look like they finally got enthused enough to sell out and play up to their potential.

i was skeptical of some of the offensive play calling. however, i have a hard time blaming them for trying to get a pass game going against such a solid run D.

to take credit away from the coaching staff for out bad passing offense is overlooking our amazing rushing offense against a very solid rushing D.

prior to this game, i think our D coaching has been poor, esp the secondary. this issue was addressed pretty well for bama imo, our D was sick. the largest problem we face now is a qb who makes terrible decisions like throwing where there is no receiver, throwing when he can easily run for first, and constantly running backwards even with no one in his face.

lee's flaws may be partly due to poor coaching, but i doubt he is taught to run backwards 10 yards before making a pass madden style.

and to the guy who said the rollout passes were stupid, they were some of lee's best completions until the 4th q int. i think he's a better rollout passer because he's not throwing off his back foot.

Agreed. But if they can reach this level once, they could have more than once, but didn't. Not against UF and not against UGA. Coaching, IMO, is what helped the Tigers reach for the stars yesterday. Coaching should have overcome the weakness at QB with stronger, much more intense and intimidating defensive efforts than LSU has shown before the Alabama game. The LSU offense has been scoring points all season, but until yesterday, nothing like the typical LSU defense has shown itself at any of our games. That is coaching, because obviously the talent is there.

I asked her and she said something about being a part of some "game day experience". I didn't catch whether it was the LSU or ESPN game day experience, but it was one of the 2.

I hear a lot about poor play calling-poor and inconsistent play on defense, quarterback play that is at times unbelievably poor, decisions concerning co-cordinators and on and on. No Miles did not throw these interceptions, he does not play any position. He's just the Head Coach and the buck stops with him. Ask Fulmer. His management of all these things/problems have not been handled well. We'll see how he does going forward and during the recruting process.

I'm a Miles supporter but I thought the timeout without the challenge and then another timeout immediatley after to challenge the Peterson play was kinda questionable.

Then he called our last timeout with 18 seconds left instead of waiting to freeze the kicker, but we blocked it anyway, so it worked out.

Clock management might have been a little questionable but overall I thought Miles did a good job.

All you Miles haters and lovers--No matter how you slice it, you have to admit that he has not done a good job this season. He has certainly not earned his 3.5 M salary with the decisions he has made and the play of the Team.

which is why he is a coach and u are not. he is good, ur not.
