And the Auburn game is not in the past? I know what you are saying, but just because we lost last week doesnt mean we will this week. Just go by what you posted.

It's a long season - we still have 6 SEC games left to try and make this a respectable season - But hoooooly shite, it doesn't look good. We have some serious, serious problems that need to be addressed.

we have what i would call 3 winnable games. Hopefully we can take at least 2 of those and hope someone like ole miss or bama just lays an egg against us. But i honestly cant see us just lying down and going 0-8 in sec play.

It's good we have good little soldiers like you, ready to squash any hint of positivity. No room for that amongst fans.

The foaming anger that is posted in reaction to anything positive about the team is actually hilarious at this point.

Is there a middle ground? I've followed LSU for 40 years as well. It does give perspective. I said we could lose to Wisconsin and MSU. I was laughed at or ignored. Despite,my thinking that LSU would win two close games (50%). I said last week that Harris would have to play very well for LSU to have a chance. I thought if he did LSU would have a shot with maybe a turnover or two advantage. Everyone knows how it went down.

At least 90% of the board wanted Harris and Beckwith to play more. I was included and they did. Neither was very good.

Having said all that UF has as many problems as LSU does. Les is Les and he will be the coach for at least two or three more years.

Support the team, they can win this one, it will be close because both are not very good, or at least this is my prediction.

Funny how YOU can cherry-pick the meaning of what you read though, eh?

Here's a novel interpretation for you: let's do the post-mortem when the season is over. Not now, and not next week.

Been here since '04.

I think a lot of the sunshine pumpers forget that we all want to see LSU win every game. We're all LSU fans or we probably wouldn't waste our time here. The difference is that it seems that some here are bigger fans of Miles than they are of the Tigers. IMO when the coaching staff - who are the only paid professionals involved here - doesn't have the team ready to at least be competitive, then I say a true LSU fan ought to be upset.

Its called reality.
The reality is no power 5 program has more wins than Lsu since we hired Miles.
No program has been ranked in the top 25 more.
No program has beaten more ranked teams.
Miles has the 3rd highest win % IN SEC HISTORY.
These are facts. Not biased opinion.

...He took over a top 5 program when he was hired. Ten years later we are not in anyones top 25 and staring at a losing season. FACT

There are people here who only post to argue with anyone who says negative things about Miles. If that is not being a bigger fan of Miles than the Tigers, then what would you call it?

Thats because we have facts to back up our arguments. There is no need to go away when we are using facts and you are using opinions.
No, what you use is your pumper blind interpretation of past facts that deny the more recent trending in LSU's fortunes. It is not negative to suggest to the captain of the Titanic that he might want to change course. And if the captain won't change course, to perhaps want to change captains. The iceberg looms ahead. Its name is Bama, Ole Miss, aTm, UF, UK, Arkansas.

what? you posted past performances isnt indicative of future results. i want to let the season play out, not shite all over my team. You responded to a poster putting up stats of Les. Maybe you should clear things up instead of responding with that phrase when the board is littered with people and their pitch forks. How else were we supposed to take it. I didnt cherry pick shite considering thats all you fricking posted.

It's called defending a coach that has brought our program unprecedented success. Miles and the rest of the staff absolutely deserves criticism for how we've come out of the gates this year, but defending Les' body of work doesn't make one like him more than LSU and if you really believe that's the case then you're worse off than I thought.

Im still trying to figure out how losing two games is more indicative of a trend than say the last 99 wins.
